If there is one thing I did in 2019 it was go to concerts. If you know me, you know that I love concerts. I have been so excited to share this blog with y’all because these concerts were some of the biggest highlights for me in 2019! I fell even more in love with every one of these bands and artists than I could have even imagined.

Dan + Shay / Morgan Evans

THIS CONCERT. Hannah and I went to see Dan + Shay in March at The Roxy and it was truly the best time. Morgan Evans kicked off the concert and surprised everyone by bringing up his wife, Kelsea Ballerini, who Hannah and I both love. Morgan Evans really started the night off with the best energy and an incredible performance. To say it was off to a good start would be an understatement. When Dan + Shay came on stage, they made the entire place come alive. It was incredible. We screamed, we danced, we sang (loudly). 10/10 would recommend seeing these guys any chance you get.

Jonas Brothers Pop-Up Concert

I still don't even understand how this concert happened. A week after Hannah and I saw Dan + Shay, Hannah called me around 7:00am and woke me up by saying, "Krissi are you fully awake and listening to me? This is important." This went on for a few minutes until she trusted I was fully awake and then she said "Star 94.1 (a radio station out of Atlanta) is giving away concert tickets to see the Jonas Brothers and the only way to get into the concert is to win tickets. The concert is tomorrow. You have to call every hour and try to win them." Hannah knows my love for the Jonas Brothers, so at this point I am wide awake. I get my phone, Matt's phone, Matt's work phone, and have the number dialed. I also have Hannah, my mom, and her friend getting ready to call. I get all the phones I have ready and when the station says to call, I call, on every phone multiple times until I hear someone say, "Star 94". I literally lose my mind (and also try to figure out which phone it's coming from). She just told me I won 4 tickets to this once in a lifetime pop-up concert. WHAAAAT?! I didn't think I'd win tickets at all, much less on my first try! So to say this concert was absolutely a dream is an understatement.

The Miss Me More Tour - Kelsea Ballerini / Brett Young / Brandon Ratcliff

In April, Hannah, her sister Haley, and I went to see Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Young, and Brandon Ratcliff. The openers were amazing (I love Brett Young), but Kelsea Ballerini can put on a show! The songs, the enerygy, the outfit changes! All of it was incredible! Everything about this concert was SO good!

The Summer Playlist Tour - Rascall Flatts / Lee Brice / Morgan Evans

I have exactly one picture and like 1,000 videos from this concert and I don't really like this picture, but it'll have to suffice. At the end of May, Matt and I went to the Hot Summer Playlist Tour. We saw Rascall Flatts, Lee Brice, and Morgan Evans! This concert was AMAZING. First of all, we got free upgraded seats and that started the evening off perfect. Morgan Evans, once again blew me away with his performance. Lee Brice was phenomenal! He put on the best show and even had Matt singing, but nothing can compare to Rascall Flatts. The stage presence, EVERY PERSON there had to be singing. This place was basically a huge party. The best part of the concert though was when Rascall Flatts dedicated a song to our United States Military and paid respect to local military men and women and had them on stage. That was a moment you don't forget because every person in the ampitheatre was clapping and cheering, not for Rascall Flatts, but for our U.S. Soldiers. I have so much respect for Rascall Flatts after this! If you ever get the opportunity to see any of these people do it!

Happiness Begins Tour - Jonas Brothers / Jordan McGraw

You guys didn't think I'd only go to one Jonas Brothers concert the year they got back together, right? There are hardly any words to describe this concert. This was an actual dream come true for me. In August, my friends, Caitlyn, Dawn and I went to the Happiness Begins tour at the State Farm Arena. This was one of those concerts you don't want to end. I could have sang and dance to all my fav JB songs all night long. They put on the best concert (and I am not just saying that because I'm a big fan). The thought that they put into this concert was incredible. They made it a special comeback concert not just for them, but for their fans. It was truly an unforgettable night.

This was my concert blog of 2019! I knocked so many great bands and artists off of my bucket list this year! I can't wait to see what concerts 2020 holds for me!

Drop a comment and let me know if you have seen any of these bands!

XOXO,

Krissi
